On October 10, 2023, the Ho Chi Minh City High Technology Association was honored to cooperate with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dong Nai province to participate in the Exhibition “Digital Transformation Week Dong Nai 2023”. This is an important event to introduce the progress and achievements of Dong Nai province in digital transformation in agriculture, applying 4.0 technology in traceability, livestock management and disease information.

Within the framework of the exhibition, the Ho Chi Minh City High Technology Association introduced the “Project on traceability of essential food products in Dong Nai province” implemented by TE Machine and High Technology Service Co., Ltd. (TE-FOOD). The project uses blockchain technology to create a transparent, safe and reliable information system about the origin of food products from farm to table.

Mr. Vo Van Phi - Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee visited the project booth at the opening ceremony of the Exhibition and expressed his interest and encouragement for the efforts of the Ho Chi Minh City High Technology Association and TE-FOOD in developing traceability technology for food products. He also tested scanning QR codes on products to see detailed information about the origin, production process and quality inspection of products.

The Ho Chi Minh City High Technology Association hopes that the “Project on traceability of essential food products in Dong Nai province” will contribute to enhancing the reputation and quality of food products produced by Dong Nai province, creating a sustainable value chain for businesses and consumers, and contributing to the development of digital transformation agriculture of Dong Nai province in particular and the whole country in general.

The Exhibition “Digital Transformation Week Dong Nai 2023” will last until October 15, 2023. This is a good opportunity for businesses, agencies, organizations and consumers to access and experience high-tech products, services and solutions in agriculture, contributing to the sustainable development of agriculture and economy of Dong Nai province.
