MEMBERSHIP POLICY
I. Members of the High Technology Association of Ho Chi Minh City
Members of the association include official members, associate members and honorary members.
Official members are individuals, scientists, enterprises, universities, research institutes operating in high-tech fields or interested, willing to contribute to the use, application, research, development of high technology in Ho Chi Minh City, agree with the Charter of the Association, voluntarily apply to join the Association and are recognized by the Standing Committee.
Associate members and honorary members are regulated by Decree No. 45/2010 / ND-CP dated April 21, 2010 of the Government.
Joint venture enterprises and enterprises with 100% foreign investment capital (hereinafter referred to as enterprises with foreign elements) operating in Vietnam, contributing to the development of the association, agreeing with the charter of the association, shall be considered and recognized by the association of economic organizations as associate members.
Vietnamese citizens and organizations that do not have the conditions or do not meet the standards to become official members of the association, agree with the charter of the association, voluntarily apply to join the association, are recognized by the association as associate members or honorary members.
Associate members and honorary members enjoy rights and obligations like official members of the association, except for the right to vote on issues of the association and not to be elected or nominated to the executive board, inspection committee of the association.
II. Obligations of Members
Strictly comply with the Charter and regulations of the Executive Board of the Association, Resolutions of the Congress;
Participate in activities of the Association;
Protect the reputation of the Association. Prohibit representing the Association in transactions that are not authorized by the Association in writing.
III. Rights and Benefits of Members
1. Members are supported and assisted by the Association, including:
- Being protected of legitimate rights and interests;
- Being provided with timely information;
- Being provided with training, consulting, and information services on issues related to high technology organized by the Association;
- Participating in all activities organized by the Association;
- Enjoying the support and assistance of organizations inside and outside the country mobilized by the Association according to the law;
- Other legitimate benefits not contrary to the law and this Charter:
+ Being updated and promoted products, services, projects on the website of the Association;
+ Being promoted information of their unit/individual on the website of the Association;
+ Being supported to post recruitment, investment, invitation to participate in programs/projects on the website of the Association (after being approved by the Association);
+ Having access to products of other members at preferential prices.
+ Having access to the source of documents of the Association (market assessment reports, ebooks, free courses,...)
2. Members have the right to discuss, criticize, question the organizations and individuals managing the Association about the policies and activities of the Association.
3. Members have the right to contribute documents to the source of documents of the Association to share with other members.
4. Official members have the right to vote, nominate, run and elect people to the Executive Board and other organizations and positions of the Association according to regulations.
IV. Procedures for joining the Association
1. Individuals and organizations wishing to join the Association must submit an application on the Website or at the Office of the Association. The application includes:
- Application form with 4x6cm photo, full signature and seal (for enterprises/organizations);
- Copy of establishment decision, business license with notarized copy, curriculum vitae of the authorized representative (for enterprises/organizations);
- Or citizen identification card, curriculum vitae (for individuals);
2. The application for joining the Association is recognized when more than 50% of the members of the Executive Board agree to admit.
3. The Executive Board announces the list of new members to all members within 30 days from the date of admission on the website of the Association.
V. Termination of membership rights
1. Members who voluntarily withdraw from the Association must submit an application to the Standing Committee (by post or email: info@hitecha.org). The rights and obligations of members will terminate after the Standing Committee issues a notice of approval (via email of the member withdrawing from the Association);
2. Members are expelled if they violate one of the following cases:
- Seriously affecting the reputation of the Association;
- Seriously violating the Charter and regulations of the Association;
- More than 50% of members request expulsion.
3. The decision to expel members takes effect from the date of signing;
4. The Standing Committee announces the list of members leaving the Association and expelled members to all other members within 15 days from the date of signing on the website of the Association.
