INTRODUCTION
DECISION OF ESTABLISHMENT
With the support of scientists, enterprises operating in the field of science and technology, the High Technology Association of Ho Chi Minh City was established for the first time in Vietnam. The congress to establish the Association was held on July 2, 2011 at the Palace Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City.
PRINCIPLES AND PURPOSES
To gather individuals, scientists, enterprises, universities, research institutes residing and having offices in Ho Chi Minh City, who are interested in using, applying, contributing, helping, creating conditions for developing high-tech fields.
To coordinate with relevant agencies to disseminate knowledge and update information on high technology and high technology applications for members.
To help, encourage and motivate members to improve their knowledge, research, application, transfer, propose solutions, exchange experiences among members.
FIELDS OF ACTIVITY
Development and training of high-tech human resources
To coordinate and support members and other members to link with organizations and individuals inside and outside Vietnam to cooperate in improving and expanding the quality of human resource training.
To seek opportunities for cooperation and experience exchange inside and outside Vietnam to help members upgrade their vision and knowledge.
Scientific research
To coordinate and support members to find topics and sources of funding for scientific research inside and outside the country.
Technology transfer
To coordinate and support members to find technologies applied inside and outside the country to transfer to enterprises to implement projects that bring economic efficiency.
Social activities
To participate in scientific and social activities of the State and activities of other organizations
To organize scientific activities
To organize social activities and charitable activities
